Special Session on ‘Voices from the Field’ & Book Club Discussion on ‘Three Thousand Stitches’

Broadening your horizons and sharing new perspectives on intriguing topics, Who said book clubs were only meant for sharing your love for books? Venture Center Library’s latest Book Club featuring “Three Thousand Stitches” by Sudha Murthy had a room full of book lovers sharing their admiration for Mrs. Murthy’s work. Many of them pertinently pointed out their favorite stories out of the compilation and vividly narrated their share of similar experiences. Be it the pranks & hustling during hardships in the early college days, the fond memories created with grandparents, or trying to overcome challenges & biases within their respective work environments, each of them had their own perspectives and takeaways to share!

Commemorating Sudha Murthy’s personality in the truest sense, Venture Center’s own Niruta Killedar shared stories and her experiences working towards the betterment of children in Kashmir & the Indian northern border regions as part of her work with Aseem Foundation

They say real superheroes don’t wear capes, and quite rightfully so this book club just became a means to meet & celebrate a few of them!

Stay tuned to know more about our upcoming book club
